TRUTH - John 3:21

 “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.”  John 3:21

Truth is opposed to error and evil.  Truth is just, holy and good according to the will of God.  It is moral rather than intellectual and has to be lived.

In order to live in the truth, we need the Spirit to lead us into all truth.  Whoever lives by the truth lives an honest life and acts truly and sincerely in all he does.  To do truth is very practical.  Truth desires to know the will of God and changes character and conduct.  A sincere believer loves, seeks and follows truth.  He is learning to depend on Christ.  He does not deceive himself or others.  He desires to have a heart in unison with the heart of God, to receive aid from God and perform acceptable actions done in His strength.
