TRUTH

 “Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to Your truth!” Psalm 86:11

Truth is defined as conformity to fact or reality; exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be.  Truth identifies things the way things really are.  The Bible defines truth as reliable and enduring.  God is the author, source, determiner, governor, arbiter, standard and final judge of all truth.  Truth means nothing apart from God.  

God is truth, it is one of His attributes.  It is impossible for Him to be otherwise.  He knows things as they are and His Word is reliable, accurate and can be trusted.  Truth is the self-expression of God.

God manifested truth to us in Jesus Christ, who was reliable, trustworthy and the only one who could honestly claim to be truth.  He is the perfect expression of God and came to proclaim and confirm the truth to those who are seeking it.  God also guides believers in truth through the Holy Spirit, who is called the Spirit of truth and is an advocate to help and be with believers forever.

Truth can only be found if you seek it, so join me and commit to seek and then daily walk in truth.
