Once you choose to follow Jesus, you become a new creation – you become who
you are in Christ. Your new identity doesn’t depend on what you have done or
who others say you are, your true identity is who God says you are. You need to
know who you are in Christ alone.
In this new year, each month the inspiration will highlight a new identity we have
in Christ plus give you references to search on your own. The challenge this new
year is to saturate your mind with the truth of God’s word, find out who you are
in Christ, learn to see yourself as God sees you, and accept what God says. This
will give you a strong foundation to practically live your life as God intended you
to live.
