PRAYER: DEDICATION

“Thy kingdom come . . . “
Matthew 6:10

Prayer includes dedication to the growth of the Kingdom of God in our lives

today as well as the final coming of the Kingdom of God through Christ’s

return. The definitions of dedication include commitment to a task or

purpose, self-sacrificing devotion and setting aside for a specific function.  

Therefore, our example is to pray for His truth to be learned from the Word

and received in hearts and lives daily plus at the same time to pray that God

will send Jesus back to earth again to set up His final reign.  As Christians,

we know that His kingdom is being established here as people come to know

Him, but that someday a new heaven and a new earth are coming too.
